Experienced Forest Works Manager/ Chainsaw Operator

Join ICD Contracting Ltd and play a key role in delivering sustainable forestry and land management projects across Kintyre and South Argyll.

We're looking for an experienced , hands-on Forest Works Manager/ Chainsaw Operator to lead forestry operations, manage teams, and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental care.

What you'll do:

• oversee cutting operations and manage teams
• plan work schedules and maintain efficient workflows
• ensure heath, safety, and environmental compliance
• work closely with stakeholders and report on progress

What we're looking for:

• Strong forestry and team leadership experience
• excellent planning, communication and problem-solving skills
• relevant certifications: IRATA (desirable - not essential), Large Trees, First Aid+F, PA1/PA6
• Full driving licence and flexibility to travel
